At Academy of Eastern Arizona-Boarding School it is our goal to give your Troubled Teen Girl the tools necessary for success in life, to serve those in need and to serve in her community. Just as no two parents are alike, no two Teen Girls challenges are alike.
- Upon enrollment each student is evaluated to assess her physical, emotional, mental, and social attributes.

The Academy of Eastern Arizona-Boarding School is located in Holbrook, Arizona which is approximately 85 miles east of Flagstaff.
Academy of Eastern Arizona-Boarding School is a private boarding school with therapy for troubled teen girls ages 12 through 18 located in Holbrook, Arizona. Staff ratio is one staff per six residents. Academy of Eastern Arizona provides supervision 24 hours per day; 7 days per week. The facility is not a “lock-down” facility. We provide a safe, secure, and structured environment. The windows and doors are locked and alarmed and residents are not allowed out of the facility without staff.
Academy of Eastern Arizona-Boarding School has experience handling issues such as: low self-esteem, depression, lying, manipulating, physical outbursts, BiPolar Disorder, ADD, ADHD, ODD, Borderline Personality Disorders, Reactive Detachment Disorder, Narcissism, alcohol and drug experimentation, eating disorders, pregnancy,Substance Abuse, sexual activity, promiscuity, sexual abuse, truancy, declining grades in school, disrespect, refusing to follow rules, defiance, anxiety, running away, aggression, suicidal ideations and attempts, anger, cutters, stress, poor peer relationships, co-dependency, etc.
The Academy of Eastern Arizona for Troubled Teen Girls is academically accredited by the Commission on Schools of the North Central Association of Accredited Schools and can issue transferable credits to other schools as well as issue a high school diploma. We have a certified classroom teacher, several paraprofessionals, tutors and certified school administrator with a special education endorsement. Many of the teen girls that come into our program are behind academically due to their behavior and choices. We work with the home school district to get them caught up so they can return and graduate with their class or may graduate high school through the Academy of Eastern Arizona .
Academy of Eastern Arizona-Boarding School teaches Life Skills in all aspects of daily living including cooking, proper food handling and preparation, cleaning, an in-house checking account requiring deposits to be made and bills to be paid, laundry, proper etiquette, substance abuse, job interviewing, self esteem, co-dependency, anger management, stress management, etc., etc.
Academy of Eastern Arizona-Boarding School has a licensed therapist. If needed, each resident receives a least one individual therapy session a week as well as group therapy sessions. Family Therapy is once a month and can be done via telephone.
Academy of Eastern Arizona also provides a Parent Page, which is an on-line secured site for each resident. The parents are given a login name and password and can view staff progress notes, academic notes and pictures of their daughter. The Parent Pages are updated weekly. A staff member will be assigned as a Student Advocate to you and your Troubled Teen Girl. You will be able to call your Student Advocate and get updates on how your daughter is doing.Academy of Eastern Arizona can also provide transportation services to pick up your daughter.
